Jul 25, 2003 Today my web site became illegal.
Today marks the day of a new Swedish law (article in Swedish) about electronical communication, stating that it is illegal to use cookies on a web site without informing the user that “I” store “information” about you.
Retarded bureaucrats.
I’m sure they’ll be vary happy with us law-abiding citizens if we gather a list of a couple of thousand sites that break this law, so they have some work to do.

Jul 24, 2003 The retard of the week is yellowpagesnationwide.com, who gifted me with about 5,000 pieces of referral spam. Blocked in my htaccess file. So far, the “referrer retard”-part of my htaccess looks like this:

Jul 17, 2003 Yay! Bostream can deliver their Scream service to our area! This means we’re looking at at least 8 megabits synchronous 8Mbit/s downstream, 1Mbit/s upstream. We can probably get 13Mbit/s, and if we’re really lucky and are very close to the nearest phone junction, 26Mbit/s.
Jul 17, 2003 Yesterday I bought myself a new cell phone: SonyEricsson T310. My old Nokia 3210 started to feel boring and old.
It seems like a very nice phone and has a 101×80 color display. In all, it cost me 349 SEK plus 12 months subscription to Comviq at 79 SEK/month, but I can live with that. It will have a new number as soon as the account is activated; contant me via your preferred method and you’ll get it. (Well, at least if I know who you are.)
The old number will probably still be available for a while, but once I have my new number I’ll leave the Nokia at home with the old SIM card in it.
