I need my fix.

I need my fix.
Can’t sleep. Still too torn up after what happened yesterday; of which I may or may not retell here. Probably not. None of your business, really.
To keep my mind on something other than that, I’m pondering about the free design thingie instead. I’ll release all stuff there under the Attribution-NonCommersial license; meaning that if you use my stuff, I require my name and a link somewhere on your site. Doesn’t have to be visible on the page; a HTML comment will do nicely. Also, you can’t use it for commercial purposes unless I say so.
I’ll start with offering a cleaned version of the current layout. Just add images and water; stir for three minutes.
…doesn’t help. My head exploded about 24 hours ago. Kinda hard not to think about it.
“The latest effort, Matrix Reloaded had the best special effects I have ever seen…and the worst plot, the worst pacing and the worst acting of any major film in recent history. Neo has been carved from dung. Morpheus from pedantic and tiresome wood. Trinity from compressed slashdot porno fantasy.”

Rodin. Some sort of CMS thingie: “Blogger isn’t powerful enough, and Movable Type is too complicated. We think you’ll like Rodin.”
I’ve been thinking about another little project. Since I tend to redesign my site about as often as I change underwear (that would be once every three months or so), I could clean up the old layouts and make them available for others to use under a CC license.
I have a crapload of old ancient layouts I dug out of an old backup I found while doing some disk drive archaeology. I could clean them up, rewrite them in XHTML, and add them as well.
And at the moment, you can check out the layout reservoir over at Blue Robot. I used to have a site based on his CSS once. It’s probably somewhere among the rest of my crap.
Some random songs that are frequently played by me right now.
Metamorfosis by Cenobita made my “buy on sight” list. Shock Therapy by Dulce Liquido also sounds quite good, but I’ll have to listen to it some more before I decide if I want a hard copy.
I’m considering Under the sky by Interlace as well. I have the MCD of Under the sky, but the European version has six more tracks. But then again, their last CD, Innuendo, had play protection (there’s no way I’m calling it “copy protection”), so I couldn’t even play it in my computer. And my computer is the only CD player I have.
Am I doing something completely wrong here, or did the tabs fall down go boom in the new Safari beta?
Option-click doesn’t open links in a new tab anymore. It opens them in a new window.
Update: Oh, never mind. After opening the preferences once more, glaring wickedly at the tab options (without changing anything), it worked again.
“He never comes when called, only gives affection when you wave food at him, doesn’t play with toys, won’t stay for a scratch or a cuddle and is generally a shit, but I’ve never been so happy to see him ever.”
