Photoblog?

All this talk about digital cameras really makes me want to have a look at photoblogging. Or why not hold your nose and dive straight into moblogging? A phone with digital camera would be cool to have. Though it would cost an arm and a leg.

Mena Trott wrote about it earlier, and the Sidekick sounds pretty cool. Low resolution on the camera, though; and I don’t know much about it. I’d rather get a better, dedicated camera and then upload the pics when I’m at a compatible computer. The GPRS systems here in Sweden aren’t fully evolved yet and are still very expensive for personal use.

As soon as I have an iPod, the next toy will be a digital camera. Magnus bought an el-cheapo miniature digital camera that “was too cute to resist,” in his own words. (Swedish review)

When I saw it, I had to agree: it was damn cute. Sure, the picture quality sucked, but it was smaller than a credit card. A good camera for parties where you don’t care about image quality (and are too drunk to take good pictures anyway) and don’t want to bring your expensive camera along. I also thought it would be perfect for a photoblog: take a bunch of pictures during the day, go home and upload. I’ll see how much Magnus complains about the camera, and maybe get one myself.

I really like the (semi-)daily photograph on Splorp. That’s what I’m aiming for.
